Heyyyy
Finding Balance in My Fitness and Work Schedule
I used to be someone who overcommitted to my fitness schedule (and still), constantly pushing myself to the limit and putting too much pressure on myself to achieve unrealistic
goals.
It wasn't until recently that I realized how important 'balance' is in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Not balance as in 50/50. Sometimes it'll be 90/10, 25/75... but balance in a way that everything is being optimized to its fullest in that moment.
Overcommitting to my fitness routine caused me to
feel burnt out and unmotivated. It took away the joy that I once found in exercise and made it feel like a chore.
I learned that it's okay to take a step back and listen to my body's needs.
Now, I make sure to incorporate rest days and mix up my workouts to keep things interesting. I focus on progress, not perfection, and enjoying the
process.
Remember, fitness should enhance your life, not consume it.
Don't be afraid to take a step back and find a balance that works for you. Let's all continue to support each other on our fitness journeys! ❤️ #findingbalance #fitnessjourney #progressnotperfection #coach #DMV #SoFlo
