Coming back from 2 weeks of illness can be tough.
I wasn't sick for 2 weeks but either my kids or I was sick at any given moment for 2 weeks.
It happens.
So on day 2 of feeling way better, it was time to go get it in right.
Now on Dat of feeling better I got a little chest workout in so I was a tiny bit sore on Day
2.
On top of that I just got over an illness and only working out 2 out of 10 days.
So what did I do?
Instead of working out, I took my ass home.
Why? After barely training for 2 weeks it had to be time to turn up...
But instead, I decide to let my healthy body use the energy and resources it had to further my recovering, instead of creating more damage.
Draining yourself session
after session will get you no where. Unless your nutrition, recovery and supplementation are top notch, which I'm willing to guess it is't lol
Every now and then, especially after being sick, take a high energy day to rest. Let your body use that 'extra' energy to fully recover before breaking it down again.
Just a little different way of looking at training.
Recovery is important to. Put as much energy into that as you do your training
and nutrition.
