Have you ever heard or uttered the phrase "be realistic" after sharing your dreams or hearing about someone else's
I'm sure you've heard phrases like these before. Most of us have. Tyler Perry certainly did.
In 1992 after saving every last dollar, Tyler staged the play for what he hoped would be a packed audience, but the seats were empty.
Six years later, despite many people saying it wouldn;t happen, that same play would sell out a local run, forcing the production to move to the acclaimed Fox Theatre in Atlanta. In 2015, his original play, Madea on the Run, would be sold out in theaters nationwide.
As they say, the rest is history. 17 feature films, 20 stage plays, seven television shows, and a New York Times bestselling book.
But even he says, "“My biggest success is getting over the things that have tried to destroy and take me out of this life. Those are my biggest successes. It has nothing to do with work.”
Conquering the difficulties in life is where we find success and fulfillment. Do the difficult, especially if it pertains to improving your health.
If someone tells you that you can't do something, or maybe it's that little voice in your head saying.... ignore it!!
Fight for your dreams.
Believe in yourself and your potential success.
Of course, stay hungry!! (but don't overdo the calories)
See you soon in a healthier fitter 2020!!
