For far to long we have treated pain and disease after it is present. Now in 2020 we must adopt, practice, and stick to preventative methods. It's time to change our ideology to address deterioration and disease before it happens.
Why has treatment of pain and disease taken precedence over preventative methods? Of course we can talk about big pharm and politics but let's look at this from the perspective of a patient. It's easier to see the painful, swollen ankle go back to normal due to post injury treatment, than it is to see that the dozens of jumps and calf raises you are doing will prevent the injured ankle from ever
happening.
Because the injury is not there we tend to not think about it, or prepare for it and then boom.... It's not there.
Identify potential problems and holes in your current nutrition and fitness routines. Lack of veggies, to much sugar, lack of unilateral movements, or an imbalance in upper to lower body workouts. Fill those holes and you can prevent disease and injury from ever setting in.
