Key quote from last week. 2020 has laid so much fear and uncertainty in front of us that we are hesitant to move forward.
Many people reporting waiting to feel a certain way before they can get started on their fitness/personal development.
But that my friends is not always true. Taking action can get you into the right mindset and propel you forward. You do not need to wait.
Here are 3 actions you can implement this week to get you started.
1. Establish a weekly routine. Yes the days change quick and often but having a plan that doesn't go perfect is better than no plan at all. No plan oftern leads to just plain forgetting. Just pick out 2-3, thirty minute blocks of time that you can get some good activity in.
Also something I laughed at at first but turned into a secret weapon, schedule family time as well. You do not need to be rigid but having things planned out can increase organization and greatly decrease anxiety, forgetfulness and mistakes.
2. Get outside daily. It's just a simple way to disconnect from work, negative people/situations and a way to naturally free your mind and boost your mood. Even if it's in the rain, that time alone can be the mental reset you need at 3p in the evening. It's more than just "outside" its a change in pace and scenery as well.
3. Eliminate drame. I'm willing to bet that when you read that you either chuckled or took a deep sigh, It seems that's impossible for most in 2020. Let's reexamine what we mean.
External drama will ALWAYS be there. But controlling what you can, establishing what really matters to you and not allowing another persons poor choices, insecurities and workd views drag you down.
